Triple Play Sunday! Franklin Brothers Band, Roomful of Blues and Easton Corbin

Triple Play! Three New Music Videos!

A great variety of new 2021 videos for you today! Last night the popular Franklin Brothers Band from New London, CT mixed up some originals, new material and classic pop covers, bringing a very entertaining, well done show to Pawcatuck, CT’s Phoenix nightclub. I’ll have more footage with some nice camera flyarounds in the next few days from this show. For now, here’s a Franklin Brothers original, 100 Days, 100 Nights, featuring Nichelle Rollins on lead vocals, to start today’s musical feast!

From the Franklin Brothers website: Hailing from New London, CT, the Franklin Brothers Band consists of brothers Jay Franklin (keyboards and vocals) and Carl Franklin (guitars and vocals) alongside a killer line-up of impeccable local musicians. The current configuration includes Dave Cafro on trumpet, Rob Funk on trombone, Cedric Mayfield and Gary Boigen on saxes, Tom DaFaria on drums, Nick Cancelmo on bass, local legend Che Cartafalsa on percussion, and Nichelle Rollins on lead and backup vocals.

Next up, Easton Corbin, with a recent top country hit, Turn Up!

Corbin performed at this summer’s Washington County Fair in RI.

And finally, local favorites, the phenomenal Roomful of Blues, performing at the Westerly (RI) Town Beach, on a lovely summer evening.

That’s called “Leave Me Sad and Blue,” featuring Phil Pemberton on vocals. The current Roomful lineup:

Phil Pemberton ~ Vocals
Chris Vachon ~ Guitar
John Turner ~ Upright & Electric Bass
Rusty Scott ~ Piano & B3
Chris Anzalone ~ Drums
Rich Lataille ~ Alto & Tenor Sax
Alek Razdan ~ Baritone & Tenor Sax
Carl Gerhard ~ Trumpet

It’s been a summer of rejuvenation, and there’s more sweet sounds on the horizon, so stay cool and stay tuned!
