How To Be a Guitar Beginner

I’ve produced a couple of guitar lesson videos and plan to make more as well. I enjoy discussing my own journey learning guitar and helping others. I find music is an important part of my daily life! I enjoy giving beginners tips in a sometimes-confusing art, where lingo can turn into a different language when a teacher has education chops.

Did you get a new guitar for Christmas?

Today’s article comes from a Quora answer from me.

How do I start learning guitar? I have an electric guitar, and I tend to give up easily. Does anyone have any tips or recommendations?

Q: How many psychiatrists does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: Only one. But the lightbulb has to really want to change!

First of all, you have to really want to do it! I can tell you what I do!

I practice every day, and I have no idea why, generally! But I do remember picking up the guitar about ten years-ago when I was older, and I put a completely different, stronger, effort into it than I had as a young person.

There seems to be two ingredients to getting into a regular relationship with my guitar, and they’re not easy: time and patience. Oh, I love the way the guitars sound, and touching and playing them, creating music … Continue reading “How To Be a Guitar Beginner”

Merry Christmas 2021

I wish all my friends, family, readers, fans, and all the rest of you a great holiday season! May your Christmas holiday shine with compassion, understanding and a vision of hope for the future!

“For to us a child is born. To us a son is given. And the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
~Isaiah 9:6

I’m reminded by my friend, podcaster Shawn Waugh, that Christmas is a time for rebirth and hope! His holiday card to his readers today said … Continue reading “Merry Christmas 2021”

Dr. Shankara Chetty, Medical Professional, Versus YouCommies

Hi Mark Urso,

Our team has reviewed your content, and, unfortunately, we think it violates our medical misinformation policy. We’ve removed the following content from YouTube: Video: Doctor Gives Best Explanation In 10 Minutes For Why COVID Is A Con & The Shots Are Meant To Kill

Hello Readers!

It seems YouTube has a medical license now, and they’ve also single-handedly, in their all-knowingness, relieved the universe of all conflict! The masters of imagination at YouTube have done this by eliminating debate! Simple solution! There’s no longer a need to think at all! YouTube will do it all for us, starting with medical discussion.

Forget all about facts and debate, those things are history. For medical information, don’t even bother asking your smelly old traditional doctor, who (consider yourself warned) may NOT be a real expert.

According to YouTube.

Their policy! – YouTube doesn’t allow claims about COVID-19 vaccinations that contradict expert consensus from local health authorities or the World Health Organization (WHO).

Nothing.

You can’t say shit if it doesn’t agree with what YouTube likes.

So they took down the video I posted, of Dr. Shankara Chetty, from South Africa. This article tells us Dr. Chetty has successfully treated thousands of patients with alleged “covid”-illness with no oxygen, hospitalization nor death.

The guy’s a madman. Imagine.

So, in the interest of freedom of speech, and learning, I appealed the decision, basically telling YouTube to fuck off. Then I posted the video again, here Continue reading “Dr. Shankara Chetty, Medical Professional, Versus YouCommies”

In The Real Story, The Hero is Trump

It’s been over two years of “what’s going on!”

So, looking back , do we have a clue?

This is my assessment of what’s going on and why. It’s often the “why” that creates division and confusion. The bottom line in the story of the US in 2021 is “China.”

You may think many things … it may seem confusing. You may think Donald Trump caused problems. You may think so-called “progressives” are having a day in the sun, gleaning attention and respect they never got before, and you may think they are of great numbers and deserve this attention.

You may think Black Lives Matter started with good intentions but got ruined by Antifa. You may think arson in Oregon and Washington was isolated and insignificant. You may think pandemics require re-thinking and repositioning so much it’s impossible to understand. You may think police are generally bad and reform is needed. John Cockers

We don’t know much about this song. It was on John Mellencamp’s “Life, Death, Love and Freedom,” which would make number 5 on the Rolling Stone’s list of 50 Best Albums of the Year in 2008.

We know the original was produced by T Bone Burnett, who gives the song some depth and texture … and heavy smoker Mellencamp was experiencing a late-in-life voice change, getting rougher every minute.

I’ll put the lyrics and chords below. The song is about a man who just wants to be left alone and has no friends. It’s the ultimate blues song, and the way Mellencamp presents it, you’d immediately think it was about himself. Continue reading “John Cockers”
