This one speaks for itself! Quality-wise, what we have here is a minor masterpiece, a redo of a funky song … to make it even funkier! Sugar really rocks the house in North Stonington, CT in this music video!
And to boot, it was a fundraiser for a charity organization known as Madonna Place (more below), held at Jonathan Edwards Winery, a place where you arrive to enter a postcard; like a movie set depicting the beauty of the rolling hills of Southeastern Connecticut. Wine country. A perfect setting.

This event was a fundraiser for the worthwhile “Music That Matters” annual fundraiser at Madonna Place. To my delight, it was not a typical wine-focused event at all, with food trucks and lots of people dancing all night long! Sure, it was held at a winery, but the price (charity donation) was reasonable ($40) for this show, and with its setting and energy, and lovely, friendly people, you didn’t need any wine.
The Madonna Place website tells us “The mission of Madonna Place is to provide services which strengthen families, promote health, and prevent child abuse and neglect. We do this by providing three strength-based programs that empower caregivers to increase knowledge of recognizing important infant toddler developmental milestones, create positive family connections and encourage the importance of family wellness.”
Side note: On Rumble’s website (and in the embedded video above) you CAN increase the resolution of the video as high as 4k (in this case). Rumble, for some reason, defaults the video to the smallest size, and the “button” to increase the size doesn’t show up until AFTER you’ve started playing the video. It’s a little non-intuitive. Just hit play, then the video starts, then there should be a chooser in the bottom right area.
This way, you can really TURN IT UP! 🙂
