The Golden Glove – Mark Urso

Videos De Musica

This one dates back to the 1700s. It’s about a girl who stalks a guy. But back in the day, it was a treasured traditional story of a woman in love, across cultural boundaries. From Springsteen in the 70s to campfires with Vikings, themes we hear in popular music are timeless!

I’ll include the lyrics with the chords, below. You can give it a try if you’re a musician, or just read the lyrics; it’s pretty fun. The woman dumps her rich boyfriend for a lowly farmer, and they live happily ever after!

Despite the stalking premise, this song is definitely safe for kids! Continue reading “The Golden Glove – Mark Urso”

Dynamic Science and the Truth of Fauci

just words

Finally, after years of speculation, we know the truth about COVID. Finally, waiting so many months hearing wildly varied, often-unscientific, undoctorly and sometimes utterly irresponsible claims about vaccines and COVID, I can publish this article, to put the myths to rest once and for all.

The ultimate expert, the foremost expert in the world, the highest-paid and best-known expert, a man widely-respected for every word he utters during these times of crisis, has decreed a clear message.

This guy doesn’t just randomly change his mind, like the FDA last year with its Emergency Use Authorization for HCQ to treat COVID.

Dr Anthony Fauci has declared once-and-for-all, the truth, and it’s indisputable. Keep in mind, you’ll probably hear conflicting reports around this, but this information is in Fauci’s own words, on video. Continue reading “Dynamic Science and the Truth of Fauci”

Walking The Dog, Searching For Rufus! Blues Caravan Party in New London Featuring Duke Robillard and Joe Beard

Four New Music Videos Today!

Duke Robillard and Joe Beard took the stage at the Hygienic in New London, Connecticut Saturday night. Joe Beard’s son, Chris, also brought his band for a well-rounded assortment of rock and blues.

The night opened with Chris Leigh. The event was organized by Leigh’s drummer, Bobby Christina. On the technical side of things, during the song “Walking The Dog,” the keyboard player tried to hide under his keyboard, but my tracking skills were invincible!

You can’t hide from me, Rufus! Continue reading “Walking The Dog, Searching For Rufus! Blues Caravan Party in New London Featuring Duke Robillard and Joe Beard”

New London Comes Alive for 9-11; Duke Robillard Graces the Stage at the Hygienic

Chris Beard Band, Joe Beard, Bobby Christina, Duke Robillard, Live on September 11, 2021 at Hygienic Art Park in New London, CT

New Englanders remembered September 11th with a wide variety of parades and special events. Westerly, Rhode Island hosted its annual Summer Pops concert in Wilcox Park, there were parades in many communities, and the music menu was very full of events!

In New London, CT, session drummer Bob Christina hosted “Bobby Christina’s Blues Caravan,” with musical legends Joe Beard and Duke Robillard, at the indoor/outdoor Hygienic Art Park on Bank Street.

Here’s Robillard and Beard, with Christina on drums and Tommy Reed (bass). An Eddie Taylor tune called “Train Fare Home.”

I’ve got more with Duke and Joe. Robillard told me he hand-painted the Epiphone guitar he’s playing; it’s pretty fabulous! He actually does commissions for his artwork painted on guitars!

Overall, a great night to experience the essence of blues performed by the greatest musicians around!

Hygienic Art is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to creating an enriching cultural experience in the city of New London Connecticut.

Ice Cream, Insanity and Disunity

The Sheer Disunity of Joe Biden

The (fake) President of the United States promised almost nothing when he emerged from a dark, dank basement once or twice to talk to puppets during his campaign last year. By the time he was installed, many citizens had lost faith in him, doubting he’d “end coronavirus,” and instill “unity” in America.

He apparently thought he could! But as it turns out, eight months-later, play toy GI Joe Biden has failed on many fronts, and we’re starting to see Democrats fall from loyalty. Whether Biden wanted to “pack” the Supreme Court will never be known, as he refused to answer the question during a debate, and then failed to get support from Congress for such a move. Ignoring questions was his mode of operation, so we don’t have much to work with to evaluate this poor excuse for a government employee. He seems out of place, failed and totally unaccountable. Alternative Reality is Here! Just Look!

just words

Zooming In on Reality

Standards for audio and video technology, the stuff behind the scenes, deep inside the computer, are based on playback equipment capability, not recording equipment.

This odd, random observation joined another seemingly random observation in my brain today, as I was listening to myself sing a Bob Dylan song … on video!

In the song Tangled Up in Blue, the lyrics say “All the people we used to know; they’re an illusion to me now!” The word “illusion” collided into my mind’s assembly of what would become this article.

The second random observation is life is nothing more than an illusion!

It’s as true as anything! Continue reading “Alternative Reality is Here! Just Look!”
